"Pets Are Family Too!"
We have a great kennel staff that uncommonly cares
for our temporary residents. In the case
of one of our special clients, our devoted kennel staff even goes so far as to
warm her food and hand feed one of our patrons because they love her so much
and this is the only way she will eat.
We just opened a new veterinarian supervised, climate
controlled, boarding
facility with 80 spaces. The pets are taken to an
outdoor run twice a day while their indoor home-away-from-home is cleaned. If the pet is here for an extended period,
they are taken out an additional time each day for exercise and play.
We discourage items being left for pets.
We are also one of the few boarding facilities in the area that still
functions during hurricanes.
Our rate for a large kennel (suitable for large
dogs) is $17.20 per night for all size pets plus $2.60 per night for
any meds. The rate for cats is $14.20 per night plus $2.60 per
night for any meds. Two or more pets
receive a 10% discount whether they board together or not.
Although we provide food, your can bring your own if you would rather
provide a special diet. The nightly boarding rate for rabbits is $11.00 and for iguanas,
snakes, ferrets, and birds the charge is $9.90 per night. Pickups are available on Saturday until 11:30 AM. We also offer a “to go home” bath (except during boarding for hurricanes) which
includes a bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. The rate for the to go home bath is $19.20.
To
board, your pet must be current on vaccinations and medical proof must be shown for:
Canine – rabies, DHLP, parvo, and bordetella
Feline – rabies, FVRCP, and
bordetella
During the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday
season, we become booked well in advance.
We usually fill with reservations for Thanksgiving by the middle of
October, and fill for Christmas by the first part of November, so make your reservation
early! There is a $25.00 pre-paid deposit required for advance reservations during the holiday
season. For hurricanes, there is a $50.00 pre-paid deposit. Both will be adjusted on your checkout bill.
Our tender
and doting groomers provide customized grooming services tailored to individual
client demands.
Grooming is scheduled by appointment only. Our grooming rates vary depending on the work involved, but as an example, grooming a small mixed breed is $28.50, a sheltie is $34.00, and a standard poodle regular cut is $65.
